Dropped off a closing gift this week and nearly came home with something extra.

Meet the two tiny troublemakers who almost convinced me I needed a fourth pet. I already have two cats and a dog at home and somehow I still had to talk myself out of tucking that little orange one into my bag on the way out. Willpower: barely intact.

Happy Labour Day, Manitoba!

Hope everyone soaked up every last drop of that final summer long weekend. And if you were anywhere near a window last night, well, Manitoba made sure we sent summer off with a bang. Nothing quite like a good thunderstorm to usher in the 'ber months.

Now it is back to school, back to routine, and back to the sports schedules that run our lives. In our house that means volleyball. In most houses around here that means hockey. Either way the arenas and gyms are about to get loud again and honestly, I am here for it.
