Well, it looks like summer is finally arriving with warmer weather and plenty of sunshine!

The number of homes sold in Orangeville was up 19% this May compared to May 2025, while the average sale price across all home types remained relatively stable at $762,658.

Year-to-date, home sales are down 12% compared to the period from January 1 to May 31, 2025, and the average sale price has decreased by 7.27%.

First-time buyers appear to be becoming more active as home prices become more affordable. Higher-priced homes are still selling, but they’re taking a little longer to do so.

With the school year wrapping up, it will be interesting to see what the summer market brings!
