Shepherds of Good Hope Homes for all. Community for All. Hope for All. Shepherds of Good Hope is a community leader in homelessness services, harm reduction, and supportive housing.

Shepherds of Good Hope fosters hope and reduces harm in Ottawa by supporting people experiencing homelessness and people who are vulnerably housed in our community. We have a number of innovative programs including: our emergency Women's and Men's shelters, our Transitional Emergency Shelter Program, our Managed Alcohol Program, our Soup Kitchen, and our Case Management Services. We also operate four supportive housing locations across the city (The Oaks, Hope Living, St. Andrew's and Richcraft Hope Residence). 70 loaves of bread, 24 jars of peanut butter, 10 litres of jam and a team that showed up for our guests.

As part of their October GIVE campaign, the Microsoft Canada team turned a wonderful turnout into 1,201 sandwiches, breaking last year’s record! They generously supplied the ingredients and spent time together preparing each one.

On Tuesday evening, we gathered at Coconut Lagoon for our first-ever Taste for Hope Partner Appreciation Night, in collaboration with Chef Appreciation Night. It was an intimate evening filled with wonderful food, warm conversations and a true sense of community.

Chef Tall Thierry, known throughout the community as Chef T, prepared a beautiful meal as we celebrated the chefs, restaurant teams and beverage partners who generously share their time, talent and passion with Taste for Hope each year.

A heartfelt thank you to Chef Joe Thottungal and the Coconut Lagoon team for welcoming us so warmly, and to Chef T for preparing such a wonderful meal.

To every partner who brings Taste for Hope to life year after year, this evening was a celebration of everything you bring to the table, and most importantly, a celebration of YOU!
