RND Construction RND Construction is a Leader in Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Homes in Ottawa Ontario. At RND, we listen. We listen to our clients.

RND Construction and our partners excel at any kind of project. We have made a name for ourselves for our great versatility, whether it’s a simple renovation or custom home; whether it’s a team of contractors and consultants for a condominium; whether it’s a residential home renovation or commercial project. We pay close attention to what they want, and we produce it. We love detail and craftsmanship. As a result, we have built a reputation, over more than 25 years, as one of Ottawa’s foremost general contracting firms. We are committed to careful, thoughtful, knowledgeable, environmentally-gentle construction practices. Owner Roy Nandram was a pioneer and specialist in Green Building long before most people became aware of its importance. Consequently, many prominent local architects, engineers, project managers, designers and sub-contractors have chosen to partner with us. We complete work on time and on budget. Our work is always aesthetically pleasing. We have received many Awards and accolades that we’re happy to share with you. We hope you’ll take a look at newspaper and magazine articles about us, and our many client reviews.

Thank you, Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa, for these kind words! 💙

For about 25 years, we've been proud to stand alongside Habitat and the ReStore in the belief that everyone deserves a safe, decent place to call home. Every donation of leftover materials keeps good products out of the landfill and puts them to work building homes, communities, and hope right here in Ottawa.

A special thank you to Shawna Blanchard and the entire Habitat team for the incredible work you do. We're grateful to be part of it and look forward to many more years of partnership! 🏡

A huge thank you to RND Construction, who have sponsored, supported, and donated enormous amounts of product over the years to the ReStore.

Roy Nandram, President and CEO of RND Construction, shared his thoughts on supporting Habitat’s mission:

“RND has been a supporting partner of Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa for approximately 25 years. I personally believe that everyone deserves a decent place to live and we are proud to help Habitat in any way we can.

As an environmentally friendly company, we are always looking for ways to reuse materials and avoid waste. Most of our projects require us to use new material, so we donate leftover products in good condition to Habitat.

While donating, we are also diverting waste from the landfill – this relationship is a win-win!”

Thank you to Roy and RND for your ongoing generosity, your contributions have helped us to build homes, communities, and hope across our city.
