Be prepared for winter and get your snow removal contracts in place before snow removal season begins November 1st.

For condo managers, this includes ensuring you have a copy of the snow contractor’s insurance certificate and a contract in place that has been drafted by the corporation. If the condo corporation is using the contractor’s snow contract, it is recommended to have it reviewed by their legal counsel and/or the corporation’s insurance company to help address any concerns and reduce liability on the corporation.

The Condominium Authority Tribunal (CAT) is introducing updated Rules of Practice and a new online platform on October 1, 2026.

Here, STACK Condo Law focuses on the rules that clarify who may represent a party before the CAT and the role managers may play in a proceeding.
