Ottawa’s spring market is in full swing! 🌷

April numbers from the Ottawa Real Estate Board show sales jumped 24% from March, signalling strong seasonal momentum. That said, this year’s market feels a bit more balanced, with sales coming in 2% below last April.

Prices are holding steady, with the average single-family home up just over 3% year-over-year.

We also saw a noticeable increase in new construction activity following the April 1st introduction of the HST rebate on new homes.
