Market Update: Ottawa's summer market remains steady

Ottawa's housing market held steady through July, with sales remaining virtually unchanged from last year despite the typical seasonal slowdown. New listings eased slightly, helping improve the balance between supply and demand while giving buyers plenty of choice.

Home prices remained stable overall, with the median sale price holding steady year over year. Single-family homes continued to perform well, while the condo market remained softer, particularly in the downtown core.
