I came across this quote this morning and it instantly took me back to the very beginning of my real estate journey.
When I started, to most people I was just a girl with an accent ( to some, I still am ๐ - wait for the book I am going to write one day ๐ ), with no connections, no built-in network, and certainly no shortcuts. Truth be told, I had no idea what I was really getting myself into & there was no one to guide me...not even a little ๐ . To this day, I joke about how naive I was in that regard! ๐
People often tell me that I make real estate look easy. What they don't always see are the many years of learning, adapting, problem-solving, and growing behind the scenes. And honestly, I'm still learning every day.
Through the years, there were a few times I thought about a change...after all, 18 years is a long time in any career not just real estate ๐ but looking back, I'm grateful I never did. . This career has challenged me, shaped me, and introduced me to so many incredible people along the way. โค
Eighteen years later, I'm still here. Still learning. Still growing. Still building.
And I truly can't imagine doing anything else. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

ps I promise this was much longer at first! ๐ I've done my best to shorten it, but when you're reflecting on 18 years, that's easier said than done
