With school starting in September, lets go back to basics and talk about the Real Estate's buying's most Frequently Asked Questions. Looking for more guidance in your first real estate experience? Click below to request a full first time buyers information session.
Q: Do I need to be prequalified before looking at properties?
A: It definitely is the best step before looking at properties. It gives you a clear path where to start, as well as what to avoid (properties outside of your budget). It will also be a time saver now that you have a more specific range to look at that's within your qualification.
Q: Do I need to work with a realtor?
A: NO! Just remember that representation is always your choice. However on the buying end, working with someone that you trust never hurts. Do your due diligence and ask potential realtors questions on how their service and experience benefits you, and decide from there.
Q: When's the best time to buy?
A: The best time to buy is when you're ready. We've worked with people that takes months, if not years to prepare to get into the market. So, trying to 'time the market' should be the least of your concerns, especially if it means rushing into the market when your finances are not prepared.
