Quick rate note. August inflation came in at 3% again and core is sitting close to 2%, so the Bank of Canada looks like it's staying put for now. Fixed rates are a different story. Bond yields have moved and lenders have followed. If you're shopping this fall, get a rate hold from your mortgage broker before you pick a home!
