Did you know that approximately 50% of houses in Saskatoon still have main sewer lines that are made of tile or fibre? Our house is one of them. These lines deteriorate over time and have to be replaced. It's a fairly big job but the city gives you option to do a cost share with them and defer the cost to your property taxes over a selected time period.

The city has a goal to eventually replace all of the old drain lines and lead water supply lines but they aren't there yet! If you live in a house older than 1960's, this is in your future.

“Can I remove this wall?”
