While inventory is holding steady and new listings are on the decline, overall activity is still about 12% beneath the 10-year average, and there are definite differences from region to region.

Higher rates can mean more expensive borrowing for families and businesses, but they also bring potential for better returns on savings and fixed-income investments. For over 30 years, I’ve worked through market shifts both as an agent and investor, and I’ve learned that every rate change brings both challenges and opportunities.
