So you’ve heard the stories in Saskatoon: “bidding wars”, houses selling in a matter of hours, multiple offers above list price
while there’s some truth to this, I wanted to bring more clarity to a process that’s actually called a ‘delayed presentation of offers’

While you may have to pay above the list price to get the house you want (this isn’t always the case btw), it’s important to be aligned with an agent who will help you decide on appropriate figures and how to make your offer more appealing to sellers in other ways, without overpaying.

As a seller, this process allows you to review all of your options, and pick and offer that’s the best fit for your family, instead of just the first offer that comes your way. The offer you pick might not even be the highest offer by the way! I can help you navigate this too!

This strategy may seem high pressure and “unfair” on the surface but it’s actually designed to bring calm to what can be a chaotic process.

Yes, real estate agents are paid well (the fall was real but this video is just cheeky humour so read on to see where I’m going with this). Many people see that big $ number and don’t realize the steep costs associated with working in real estate. Your agent goes out there every day without the guarantee of compensation and a lot on the line including their time and money. If you’ve got an agent you love, stick with that person because they’re invested in seeing you succeed on your purchase or sale. If you don’t have that agent you love yet, let me be that guy who will invest my time, money and genuine care into your success! Navigating the Saskatoon market requires a good strategy and people in your corner with the experience to guide you through it. I can do that for you đŸ™‹â€â™‚ïž
