Natural light is one of those things that is easy to overlook when you are viewing a home but has a massive impact on how a space actually feels to live in.

A room that feels bright and open in July can feel dark and closed in by November. And in Newfoundland that matters a lot.

When you are viewing a home pay attention to which direction the windows face, how many there are, and what is blocking them outside. Visit at different times of day if you can.

A home that works in all seasons is a home that keeps working for you long after moving day.

It is Monday morning. Can you tell? ☕

No coffee yet, kids are all dropped off, and I am currently googling how to clean out a washing machine. Very glamorous over here.

But the weekend was worth it. The boys started hockey this weekend and seeing a three year old and a five year old fully geared up on the ice for the first time was honestly the sweetest thing.

So here we are. Monday of Mondays.

My advice for the week is to tackle the stuff that needs doing first thing. Check a few things off the list early so the rest of the week does not feel so heavy.
