A Major Milestone for MOD Kitchen Burnaby
When we started MOD Kitchen, our vision was simple: create a platform where great food entrepreneurs could thrive together, support one another, and serve their communities with incredible food.
Today, I’m excited to share that we’ve officially received our Building Permit for MOD Kitchen Burnaby, and construction is now underway.
This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our team, our vendors, and the communities we serve.
Even more exciting, we’ve already signed on seven incredible food brands, including several of our original vendors from our Ironwood location who have been part of this journey from the very beginning. Their continued belief in our vision means the world to us, and we couldn’t be more grateful to continue growing together.
As a sneak peek of what’s to come, I’m thrilled to announce our first vendor collaboration with our good friends at BBQ&CO.
Together, we will be co-creating a café experience within MOD Kitchen Burnaby that brings together handcrafted coffee, artisanal baked goods, and some of BBQ&CO’s beloved specialties, including BBQ Pork, Roast Duck, and much more. It’s a concept that reflects what MOD is all about—bringing great brands together to create something even better than they could on their own.
What excites me most isn’t the construction, the permits, or even the growth. It’s the opportunity to continue building a community where entrepreneurs succeed together, where customers discover amazing food, and where collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re just getting started.
