One of the highlights of our 10th Annual Blueberry Harvesting Event is always our Blueberry Harvest Day at Riverwood Farm in Agassiz, and this year did not disappoint!
Upon arriving at the farm, we were warmly welcomed by the farm caretaker and his family, who even treated us to freshly baked blueberry tarts that were simply delicious.
The day was filled with hands-on experiences and plenty of fun. We had the opportunity to tour the farm, learn about the blueberry harvesting process, and even climb aboard the blueberry picking machine to see how efficiently it collects blueberries. It was fascinating to witness the work that goes into every harvest and an eye-opening experience for many of us.
Of course, one of everyone’s favourite moments was picking our own blueberries and as many as we could take home! Wanson Group’s generosity and commitment to creating meaningful experiences for employees and their families are what make this tradition so special year after year.
We are grateful for the memories made, the laughter shared, and the chance to spend quality time together outdoors. Until next year’s blueberry harvest!
