Well, I was too bold in my prediction... both the Bank of Canada(BoC) and the U.S. Federal Reserve held rates steady today—I suspected it would go up, plenty of signals they would.👀

🇨🇦 In Canada, the BoC held its rate at 2.25%, continuing a “wait and see” approach as inflation and economic growth balance each other out.

🇺🇸 In the U.S., the Fed also paused rates, staying cautious as inflation remains sticky.

🏡 What this means for us, locally:
For buyers and sellers in BC, stability is the key takeaway. No sudden shifts in borrowing costs, but future moves will depend heavily on inflation and economic data.

Steady rates = steady confidence… and in real estate, confidence matters.
