The market continues to show strength this summer, with new July average price records for both detached homes and condominiums.
🏠 Detached homes averaged $454,264, while condos averaged $290,522.
📋 Active listings increased 9% compared to last year, giving buyers more choice than we’ve seen in recent months.
💰 The $400,000–$499,999 price range remained the busiest segment for detached homes.
Here are a few interesting market insights:
🔹 Waverley West recorded the most detached home sales in Winnipeg, while Steinbach led the surrounding communities.
🔹 Osborne Village was Winnipeg’s most active neighbourhood for condo sales.
🔹 21 homes sold for over $1 million in July, including one that sold for more than $2 million.
While sales were down slightly compared to last July, they’ve stayed remarkably close to the 5-year average throughout 2026—showing a market that’s remained steady despite changing conditions.
