A couple of weeks ago, our Leadership Team spent the morning making muffins, cookies, and energy bites for Ronald McDonald House Manitoba's Home Sweet Home Baking Program. These homemade treats were enjoyed by families staying at the House while their child receives medical care.

Ronald McDonald House Manitoba is a 60,000 sf home away from home that provides comfort for rural Manitoban and out-of-province families with a child requiring treatment at a nearby hospital. The House provides a welcoming environment where families can stay together and find comfort and support.

This week, our team recognized National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by wearing orange shirts and participating in a Métis beading workshop led by the Louis Riel Institute.

As team members learned about the history and cultural significance of Red River Métis beadwork while creating orange beaded shirts, they also had the opportunity to reflect on the lasting impacts of the residential school system and the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

Earlier this week, we kicked off our 2026 United Way Winnipeg Workplace Campaign with a Bake Sale!

Our team came together to make the event a "sweet" success, donating a variety of homemade treats, including cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and even focaccia, while showing their support for the fundraiser.

The Bake Sale was a great way to launch this year's campaign and build excitement for the weeks ahead. We're looking forward to keeping the momentum going with more Workplace Campaign events as we raise funds in support of United Way Winnipeg.

Last week, some of our team put their strength to the test by pulling an 80,000 lb plane for a great cause!

Alongside more than 1,600 Winnipeggers, we participated in United Way Winnipeg's Plane Pull as part of the 2026 Campaign Kickoff. It was an inspiring morning celebrating the important work United Way Winnipeg does in our community and a reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together to make a difference.

We're excited to carry that momentum forward as we kick off our Workplace Campaign this week, bringing our team together to raise funds and support United Way Winnipeg's impact in our community over the next month.

After three years of transformational leadership as President, Jenn Mullen-Berube will be transitioning from her role, and we are excited to share that Chad Willis, Vice President, Valuation & Advisory at MMI Group is stepping into the role of President.
