The spring market continues to show strength.

For the first time in 2026, overall MLS® sales rose above the 5 year average, signaling continued buyer confidence across the Winnipeg region.

Here are a few key highlights from May:

🏡 Residential detached home prices reached a record high average of $477,313, up 4% from May 2025.

🏢 Condominium sales increased 6% compared to last year, marking the first month in 2026 that condo sales outpaced 2025 numbers.

📋 Active listings increased compared to both last year and the 5 year average, giving buyers a few more options to choose from.

💰 More than $729 million in real estate changed hands throughout the region during May.
