Having to make this post is incredibly disappointing to me.

In nearly 20 years of real estate sales, I have never witnessed such a disregard for private property and basic respect. The number of individuals who have felt entitled to enter this property simply because it is listed for sale has been staggering.

Let me be very clear: this is private property. It is not open to the public, and it is not a place for people to walk through, drive onto, or explore without permission. Trespassing is illegal, regardless of whether a property is occupied or vacant.

The property is actively monitored by the vendor through security cameras and supported by a vigilant neighbourhood watch. The number of unauthorized visitors that have been reported—and that I have personally had to remove from the property—is completely unacceptable.

This was someone’s home. It deserves the same respect today as it did when it was occupied.

If you have genuine interest in the property, contact your Realtor and book a proper showing. That is the professional and respectful way to view a property.

To the agents who have allowed or encouraged clients to visit this property without an approved showing appointment: do better. Accompany your clients, follow showing instructions, and respect both the vendor and the profession you represent.

This one hits me in the feels and is truly bittersweet for me.

Of course I wanted the absolute best outcome for K & D… but if I’m being honest, a little part of me secretly hoped this home would never sell, because it meant the end of such a special chapter together.

What started years ago as clients from the Wilke & Co days turned into so much more than real estate transactions. Along the way, we shared laughs, stories, heartfelt conversations, and so many memories I’ll genuinely cherish forever.
