119 years old. That’s how old this front door and home is.
I previewed this Riverview property last week for a client who was out of town. How cool is this door from 1907, still with its original mechanical doorbell? The front plate could use a polish, the bell cover stripped from layers of paint. Based on the era, I’m guessing there’s brass or copper waiting to shine ✨
This is what I love about Winnipeg homes. So many century old properties that carry their original details and character. There’s a real appreciation here in Winnipeg for preserving history. Which is something you don’t see in Calgary. I love Calgary. But I find Winnipeg architecture and history much more interesting and fascinating.
