From pink skies at 5:15 AM to blue skies, changing clouds and evening rain at 7:57 PM — a day in Costa Rica’s rainy season 🌅🌦️

Rainy Season • Day 10 🌴🇨🇷
October 13 | Nosara & Sámara

The morning was dry, with clouds and patches of blue sky.

At 1:21 PM in Nosara, cloudy skies. About an hour later, heavy rain lasted around 20 minutes. In Sámara, it rained for about an hour with lightning. Those showers weren’t captured on video.

By 5:29 PM in Sámara, no rain—just pink and golden skies 🌅 Then an ocean view from Santo Domingo at 5:52 PM.

What does October weather really look like?

Morning ocean views, dark clouds at 1:25 PM, then a heavy shower around 1:37 PM lasting about 10 minutes. By 3:29 PM, blue skies in Barrio Los Monos ☀️

Back in Santo Domingo at 5:18 PM: rain out at sea, but none here all evening.

A glimpse of one day along the coast—not rain all day! 🌦️

Rainy season • Day 8 • October 11 🌴

After a few hours of overnight rain, the morning started dry with sunshine and clouds in Santo Domingo 🌤️

No rain during my morning visits to Sámara Beach and Carrillo Beach. By 3:47 PM, wind and rain in Santo Domingo 🌬️🌧️

At 4:50 PM, the rain had stopped and blue skies were peeking through again. No rain here at 9:17 PM either.

Pink skies at 5:25 AM, horses on the way to Buena Vista Beach, and a sunny afternoon in Sámara ☀️🐴

At 5:54 PM in Santo Domingo, cloudy skies but no rain. By 8:47 PM, rain and lightning to end the day 🌧️⚡

🌙 5:57 PM — No rain at that moment in Sámara.

Sunshine, afternoon rain, and a rainbow 🌞🌧️🌈
Rainy season in Sámara • Day 4 • October 7

A sunny morning, with a brief shower around 10 AM lasting just 5–10 minutes. Sunshine and some clouds followed until the afternoon rain.

🌧️ 3:40 PM — Rain in downtown Sámara.
☁️ 4:42 PM — No rain at that moment in Santo Domingo.
🌦️ 4:58 PM — Rain again at home, with golden sunlight on the forest.
🌈 A rainbow to finish the day.

Morning sunshine, a little drizzle, and a peaceful evening in Sámara. ☀️🌦️🌙

Rainy season • Day 3 • October 6

7:10 AM — Sunshine and ocean views.
7:36 AM — Morning coffee.
Around noon — Light drizzle for about 10–15 minutes, then the weather cleared.
Around 7 PM — A little drizzle again.
7:30 PM — The rain had stopped.
