🤝 Sales agreed remain steady, but are currently 4% below last year’s market levels.
🏦 Average two-year fixed mortgage rate falls to 5.18%, offering more confidence for buyers heading into summer.

A new £5,000 deposit scheme has launched through Lloyds / Halifax, with borrowing available up to £295,000 for eligible first-time buyers.

That could put homes around the £300k mark back into consideration for some buyers, which in Andover is close to our average 3 bed price 🏠

And in a market where saving the deposit is often the biggest hurdle, this is genuinely welcome news.

This won’t be for everyone, and affordability checks still apply, but for first-time buyers who have felt stuck, this could be a proper door-opener.

And only ONE applicant 🙋‍♀️needs to be a first-time buyer!
