Recent local news reports about managing agents stealing client money are more than just headlines — they’re deeply damaging, upsetting, and completely unacceptable.

📢 A Brief Update From Us 📢

It has been an exceptionally busy and productive period for our team of late, which has meant our page has been a little quieter than usual. Behind the scenes, we have been involved with a number of major works projects currently underway across our managed portfolio, with several further works already in the planning stages.

We have also been finalising the last few new buildings joining us in 2026, so it has been a particularly active time across the business.

One example of the works presently in progress is shown here — full-height scaffolding erected to provide access to the top floor roof level for specialist roofing replacement . As part of these works, an asphalt melting machine is used on site to heat solid asphalt blocks into liquid waterproofing material. This is then transferred into metal buckets and carefully lifted to the top floor via the scaffold, where the roofing team can apply it before it cools and sets.

Last but certainly not least, we’re delighted to welcome the final building joining us for 2026 — and in one of our firm favourite locations, Brunswick Square.

With the front elevations across Brunswick Square due for redecoration this summer, there’s a real sense of anticipation for what’s to come. It’s fantastic to see managing agents and owners coming together to give this iconic square the refresh it truly deserves.

We’re looking forward to seeing Brunswick Square looking its very best again soon ✨

Brighton & Hove City Council has now released the Brunswick Estate Repainting Specification for 2026, meaning we can officially start preparing for the next repainting cycle.

As always, this is a key part of maintaining the beautiful, uniform appearance of Brunswick Square and Terrace — a requirement under the Hove Borough Council Act to repaint every five years to preserve the estate’s historic character. 

The 2026 programme will include updated paint specifications (as previous products have been discontinued), along with guidance on proper preparation and application to ensure the best long-term finish. 

Works are expected to take place between April and October 2026, to ensure suitable weather conditions for painting.
