🐾 Could allowing pets help your holiday let attract more bookings?

One of the questions we often get from owners is, “Should I allow pets in my property?”

At My Getaways, we encourage owners to consider it. For many guests, their dog is part of the family, and being able to bring them along can make a real difference when choosing where to stay.

We also understand the concern about additional cleaning.

That’s why we charge a one-off pet cleaning fee per stay. This allows our housekeeping team to carry out a deeper, hypoallergenic clean after the guests leave, helping prepare the property properly for the next stay.

Owners can also set clear boundaries.

Some of our standard pet conditions include:

🐶 Maximum of 1 or 2 small or large dogs (owner decides)
🐶 Housetrained dogs only, preferably no puppies
🐶 No dogs on beds or furniture
🐶 Dogs must not be left unattended in the property

For the right property, being pet-friendly can mean welcoming more guests without simply accepting additional wear and tear as part of the deal.

It’s about finding the right balance between protecting your property and making it more appealing to guests. 🐾
