My latest little woodworking project. Not bad for a first try with a few basic work tools and without the use of a full on workshop. Took a little longer than expected and probably needs some refining, but was my first attempt. Just needs filling with Rum. 😅🥃.

Anyone else having trouble renewing their traders parking permit. Brighton Council website a nightmare and saying you can't automatically renew online, just apply for a new one, pay for it and then get an email to say they'll let me know in 10 days if its approved. Is this another soppy change from this Council designed to make life even more difficult for traders. 🤬

A light smoked and tumbled oak batten in a basket weave pattern with a mixture of single and double block borders, including 3 steps, glued over an Isocheck 15T sound board and finished with a Fiddies Dead Matt Hardwax Oil. This one was a real labour of love, but was certainly worth it.
