REMINDER - Tonight - at 7.30pm - East & Botolph Claydon Village Hall - Question & Answer session with regards to Rosefield Solar Farm application. This relates to any questions you may have after watching the hearings from 20th/21st May and the questions/answers relating to these (on the inspectorates website - details which we have already given you). With this being time Steve and I will be taking out of our evening we would really appreciate it if you can indicate by return if you will be intending to go. Thank you in advance.

Quick reminder of Mr Rossi’s email address. Just click on the link to email the CEO of EDF and let him know how important our countryside in and around Botolph Claydon and East Claydon and surrounding villages is to us. Remembering EDF are the key applicants in the Rosefield project.

He says we have too much electricity and that solar and wind should be paused. Let him know why Rosefield should be stopped.

A quick piece of homework for EVERYONE please!

If you haven’t already done so please read the article below regarding the need for Solar and Wind Farms from the CEO of EDF - Mr Rossi - reminding ourselves that EDF are the key applicants for Rosefield Solar Farm.

You will notice that he suggested that as Chief Executive of EDF Energy, ‘The UK governments expansion of wind and solar power was creating far more electricity generation capacity than needed’.

Greg Smith MP has sent a letter to Mr Rossi asking for Rosefield to be stopped now so your piece of homework is the same:

PLEASE PLEASE spend just a short time, to send an email to the CEO of EDF Energy Simone Rossi, asking that he scrap plans for Rosefield, which has not been approved yet. His email address is:

The more people that can do this in the next few days, will surely show him how Rosefield is NOT the place for a huge 2,100 acre solar farm.
