We’ve posted alot about what there is to do in the vicinity of Peace Cottage, it’s easy to forget we’re only an hour and a half drive away from the Lake District. It’s absolutely perfect for a day out with the family. You can hike, row or paddle to your hearts content. And the views, they speak for themselves😍

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Peace Cottage.

This picture is just a 5 minute walk from the front door of our cottage, you can’t get much more serene than that☀️

It’s not just the front of the cottage and inside that’s had a spruce up recently. We always felt the gable end slightly let the side down, and it’s the first impression our guests have of the cottage as they drive through Langton. The rain runs off the roof (and all the dirt with it) and we didn’t think much could be done due to the rendering on the walls.
Big thanks to Kevin Burke for soft washing the entire wall, making it gorgeous again☀️
