The James Gesner Estate Agents Charity Golf Day 2026 was our 10th event since 2015, and I honestly cannot thank everyone enough for their support. To see 172 golfers turn up year after year is something I never take for granted.
A special thank you to our main sponsor, Ollie Worrall, for an incredible donation and for supporting the event as main sponsor for the third year running. 🎯
A huge thank you also to Corinne Pryor, who quite simply makes the day possible. Giving up her time away from the pub and working from 7:30am until 11pm is above and beyond, and I genuinely couldn’t do it without her.
Thank you to all 18 hole sponsors for your support, many of whom have backed this event time and time again. Your loyalty means the world.
To all the charity volunteers on the par 3s, my fantastic team at James Gesner Estate Agents for putting up with me in the lead-up and helping throughout the day, the clubhouse team for the brilliant food and service, the pro shop for everything you did behind the scenes and the prizes you organised, and Tony Tyler for the superb hog roast in the evening – thank you.
A massive thank you to the greenkeeping team for working tirelessly to get both courses in such fantastic condition.
And of course, we can’t forget C U Tuesday Indie, who absolutely smashed it out of the park once again and rounded off a brilliant day in style! 🎶
Most importantly, thank you to every single golfer, sponsor, volunteer, donor and supporter who helped make the day such a success.
I am absolutely delighted to say that together we raised an incredible £14,000 which will be shared between Footsteps Foundation,Children with Cancer UK, Zac’s Fund, Cholsey Volunteers, Oxfordshire Foster Carers and a few other deserving causes. ❤️
When I started this event back in 2015, I could never have imagined what it would become. Ten events later, it continues to bring people together, support fantastic charities and make a real difference in our community.
Thank you all for being part of the journey.
Now then… who’s up for doing it all again next year? 😎⛳🍻 💚🧡❤️🩵
