📢 Energy Price Cap Update – Important Tenant Reminder by Ofgem

From 1 July 2026, the energy price cap will increase by around 13%, with the average household bill rising to approximately £1,862 per year.

This means your energy usage will be charged at a higher rate from the start of July.

Make sure you take clear meter reading photos today 📸 (gas & electricity if applicable) and send/upload them to your supplier or landlord before or on 1st July.

This is important because it ensures:
• You are only billed for energy used before the price increase
• Your account is accurately split between old and new rates
• You avoid being overcharged due to estimated readings
