Full Garden Renovation – Before & After

This project involved a complete garden transformation.

First, all trees and stumps were removed, followed by the removal of a large concrete slab. In total, 68 tons of waste were taken out of the garden. This figure does not include the trees and bushes that were removed by Heartwood Tree Care before we arrived on site.

Once the area was cleared, we constructed a new breeze block retaining wall around the perimeter of the garden. The wall was finished with harling and topped with Indian sandstone coping stones.

We then created a new pond, and we're happy to report that it already has new frogs enjoying it.

Around the pond area, we added bark surfacing to create a safe and natural play space for the kids. The garden was then finished with beautiful Autumn Brown Indian sandstone slabs, giving the space a warm and clean look.

The customer will be planting a new hedge along the outside of the garden, which will complete the space as it grows in.

We understand that some people don’t like seeing photos of plants and trees being removed, and we do occasionally receive messages about this. While we respect these views, we always carry out the work requested by our clients. If we didn’t undertake the project, another contractor would.

We love being able to give back to our community ❤️

We spotted a post from a local nursery asking for help to make their garden safe again, as the children weren’t able to use it. The plan was just to replace the wood, but when we got there, we noticed the AstroTurf was also badly damaged.

So instead of fixing just part of it, we decided to replace both the wood and the grass completely free of charge 🙌

Now the children have a safe and fun space to play in — and that’s what it’s all about! 🌟
