We are delighted to announce that the planning application by Retirement Villages Group was granted consent at committee on 11 July. The project team is now working on the next steps and will endeavour to provide a timeline for the project in the coming months.

For now, we want to ensure that the local community is involved as the project progresses. Not only will this mean news and information about the works and timeline, but also learning about initiatives and events in the local community with which we can help.

If you have any questions about the project, please get in touch: [email protected], or visit our website for further information: www.watfordroadelstree.co.uk

Our architects and design team have been busy progressing the plans. 🏘️

We have worked with the council to come up with changes to better complement the local surroundings. Although they may seem minor, these revisions will significantly contribute to the look and feel of the scheme. ✔️

Check them out on our website - https://watfordroadelstree.co.uk/design-amendments/

We welcome any feedback!

Since our public exhibition in November last year, our architects and design team have been busy progressing the plans. As part of the process, we have been working with the council in order to receive feedback on how the designs should be improved to best complement the local area. This is achieved...

Located in the heart of Elstree, the site covers nearly six acres and is currently used as a horse paddock with outbuildings and animal feed stores.

The current occupants, with the support of the freeholder and RVG, are seeking a more suitable and long-term home. For more details on the location and the proposals, check out our project team website here 👉http://watfordroadelstree.co.uk/about-the-site/

We have received a lot of questions over how biodiversity and wildlife will be affected by the proposed development. As a matter of corporate policy, RVG targets a net gain of 20% biodiversity. 🏡 This means our landscape will become ecologically richer and more diverse than it is now. We have received the good news that there is no suitable habitat nearby for the protected Great Crested Newt. This means we can be sure our works will not endanger this precious species. 🐸
