The North of England has so little like this on our doorstep. Without DHDBP, families and young riders could be facing hours of travelling just to find somewhere comparable to ride.
We are incredibly lucky to have Danny Hart’s Descend Bike Park at Hamsterley.
Carlton and his friends absolutely love riding there. It keeps them active, gives them something they are passionate about and, most importantly, gives them somewhere to dream big. ❤️
It’s where they challenge themselves, learn new skills, build confidence, make friendships and encourage each other. You can see how much riding means to them — and places like DHDBP give young people the opportunity to turn those dreams into something real.
This is about so much more than mountain biking.
It’s about our kids. Our community. Physical activity. Mental wellbeing. Friendships. Opportunities. Dreams.
We cannot just accept losing something this special.
Every signature matters. Every share matters.
Let’s show that the North East wants to SAVE DHDBP and find a way for this incredible facility to have a future beyond 2028.
