Mabbs Hall Care Home is in the Centre of Mildenhall, in the county of
Suffolk, and caters for service users who require nursing care; some of whom may have mental health issues. The home can care for 29 service users and has a variety of spaces for the service users to enjoy, including 2 lounges and a dining area. Our landscaped garden compliments the home with seating areas and raised flower beds.

We kicked off carehome open week yesterday with a sun filled visit from Louise Elder Vocalist. Louise performed seaside themed songs for us including the classic Summer Holiday by Cliff Richard. We all had a great time singing along, dancing and shaking our pompoms and tambourines.

Our garden is bursting with colour and life, creating a warm and welcome space for our residents, families, and visitors to enjoy.

The vegetable garden is thriving thanks to the hard work of our maintenance man, Jerome who helped the residents with planting a variety of vegetables. Residents get to enjoy the vegetables grown as they are used in the kitchen by our chef Rosie and her team.

New plants have recently been potted at the front of the home, which will bring vibrant colour to the entrance.

On Friday we hosted lunch with your loved one. Lunch was either hassleback chicken or pork loin served with dauphinor potatoes and asparagus, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert.
We played bingo after, there was lots of smiles and laughter all round.
