Self-catering accommodation featuring 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, spectacular views, 2 lounges, large dining room & well equipped kitchen, private car park for up to 6 cars - take a look at: cumbriahouse.co.uk Cumbria House is located on a quiet street in the heart of Keswick, a couple of minutes walk from the town centre, its bars, cafés, restaurants and shops, and has great access to the surrounding lakes and fells. Self catering: you will have exclusive use of the whole house; eight bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a dining room, a large kitchen, two lounges, a utility room, drying room and south facing patio. There is free super-fast wifi throughout and a large private off-street car park for seven cars. Room-only stays: for a few weeks of the year we are able to offer our eight en-suite bedrooms for room-only stays. Perfect for individuals and couples, there is also access to the guest lounge, drying room and south facing patio.

A day on the fells, then back to somewhere warm to put your feet up. 🥾

With two lounges, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out after a day of walking. Get cosy, put the kettle on and make plans for tomorrow. There’s also a dedicated drying room for wet coats and boots, plus a utility room to help keep all your walking gear out of the way. It’s a great base for groups who want to explore the Lakes together, with plenty of space to relax when you get back. 🏡

Only half a mile from our front door and you can be up at Castlehead. ⛰️

It’s a great little walk for first thing in the morning, especially if you’ve brought the dogs, with some brilliant views over Keswick without having to venture too far. And as autumn rolls in, keep an eye out for those mornings when the cloud sits low and you might just catch an inversion from the top. 🍂

A couple of our Keswick recommendations to save for your next stay 📍⛰️

One of the best things about staying with us is having plenty to do within walking distance. For drinks, food and a relaxed evening out, The Pocket is always one of our picks. For your daily dose of caffeine, Yonder is one worth adding to the list. Both places are in the heart of Keswick and just a short walk from the front door. There are so many brilliant independent places around, these are just a few we’d recommend while you’re here.

Keswick isn’t just a summer destination! Every season brings a completely different feel to the Lakes. Spring days when everything starts to blossom, long summer evenings by Derwentwater, autumn colours across the fells and those crisp winter mornings ❄️

Some places have a way of bringing family memories back together 🤍🏡

Maybe you grew up coming to the Lake District with your parents, spent summers walking around Derwentwater or remember being dragged up your first fell as a child. Years later, you can come back with your own children, parents, grandparents and the rest of the family and do it all over again.
