🏠 New Damp & Mould Legislation Comes into Force on 6 October 2026

Clydesdale Housing Association has reviewed the new requirements and can confirm that our current damp and mould procedures are compliant with the new legislation.

If you report damp, mould or condensation we will continue to:

🔎 Investigate within 10 working days
📄 Provide written findings within 3 working days
🛠 Begin any necessary repairs within 5 working days
🚨 Respond to all emergency repairs within 5 hours

We encourage tenants to report any concerns as soon as possible so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

🎱 Eyes down for another successful year at CHA... and congratulations to all our prize bingo winners! 😊

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Clydesdale Housing Association's Annual General Meeting at Lanark Memorial Hall last night. We were delighted to welcome 31 of our 94 members to hear about the Association's achievements over the past year and our plans for the future.

The evening included both CHA's AGM and the Residents and Tenants Group AGM, followed by refreshments and some friendly competition during our prize bingo session.

A special thank you to our members, tenants, residents, Management Committee members, staff who helped make the evening such a success. Your continued support and involvement help shape the future of Clydesdale Housing Association.

At last night's meeting, Clydesdale Housing Association's Management Committee approved seven updated and new policies that help guide how we deliver services, support tenants, and meet our regulatory responsibilities.

Households have been warned to brace for higher bills this winter after Ofgem announced another rise in the energy price cap.

From 1 October, the cap will increase from £1,663 to £1,723, adding around £60 a year to the average household bill.

Family budgets are already under huge pressure with forecasts suggesting prices could rise again in January.
