We are a 3rd generation family run business serving the York, Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby area but do you really know the team behind the business? 👀

Charles Walker Construction is led by our Managing Director Andrew and his wife Alex who are supported by Adam, our site manager, Mike, our assistant site manager and our dedicated Design Team - Dan and Simon.

Adam has been a part of the team since 2015. As Andy’s second-in-command, he’s the person we can always rely on, and honestly, we’d be lost without him! There’s very little Adam can’t do, and his knowledge, hard work and willingness to get stuck in make him a huge asset to the team. Away from work, Adam is married to Beth, is a proud dad to their beautiful one-year-old Bobby, and we can’t not give a shout out to his much-loved beagle, Jeremy! We’re incredibly lucky to have him!

In addition, Mike has been an integral part of our team for several years. He and his wife, Oksana, came over from Ukraine in 2022 through the UK’s Homes for Ukraine scheme and initially stayed with some of our friends. While looking for work, Andy offered Mike a position with us. At the time, Mike didn’t speak any English, but through his hard work and determination, he has since become an excellent English speaker. He has been a valued member of the team ever since and is now one of our Assistant Site Managers. Alongside Adam, Dan and Simon, Mike is an invaluable part of our team, and we are incredibly proud to have him with us.

We are known for our excellent reputation for quality workmanship, respect for your home and the ability to deliver outstanding results whether it be for commercial, residential or site management projects 😊
