Not every safety issue is immediately obvious.

During an inspection, our engineer found broken clips supporting the external gas pipework, along with a kink in the pipe around one of the failed clips.

Although the damage was not currently affecting the boiler's performance, the condition of the pipework meant it was classified At Risk and required remedial action.

It's a good example of why an inspection isn't just about whether an appliance is working. The condition of the wider gas installation matters too.

Sometimes it's the smaller details that need attention.
