Almost done with this one. Just carpets and flooring, and a lick of paint to the front exterior.
I’ve been working here on and off for the past 8 weeks. Ste has only ever been once, and that was the day we viewed it. But ask me the name of our solicitors or who our mortgage provider is and I couldn’t tell you. It’s a team effort, both working to our strengths.💪🏻💪🏻

It’s been a busy week!! 🥵
4 viewings of the 6 houses we’ve agreed to buy. Continued refurbishment of one of our other projects.
Dealing with planning issues from Liverpool council😡, sorting out documentation for bridging finance and trying to raise money to fund some of our other projects.
Some weeks property can be very testing and it’s difficult while we both work full time, particularly with young families. But we have a goal and we know it will be worth it!

The pitch on the tiled roof of the outrigger was too shallow preventing rain water from running off, causing water ingress. Tiles have now been removed, roof boarded and felted, making it easier for water to run off.

We completed on our first tenanted property at the end of December. Normally we only buy vacant properties. This one was a bit different, the tenants were being forced out by their previous landlord so that they could sell the property. We purchased this through Gary Kewin who promised the tenants he would find a buyer who would let them stay.
After sorting out all the paperwork between old landlords and estate agents we can finally get round to doing what the old landlord refused to do. Fitting a new kitchen and bathroom. This morning we’ve been to measure up to get the process started.

Progress being made on project Lily. Kitchen almost fitted, bath room ready for plasterers and bedrooms nearly finished.
