Nobody knows a city better than the people who spend their careers walking its streets, and Jon’s answer for the best rooftop bar in London is always the same: Flute at The Broadwick.
There is something about a rooftop bar done properly that just changes the whole evening, and Flute has that in spades. Tucked above The Broadwick Hotel right in the heart of Soho, it is the kind of spot that feels like a genuine discovery even though half of Central London already knows about it. Great drinks, that particular energy that only comes from being above the city rather than in the middle of it, and views that remind you exactly why you live here.
This is what Soho looks like when you know where to look. Not the obvious spots on the main drag, but the ones tucked above them, the rooftop that turns a normal Tuesday into something worth getting dressed up for. Flute at The Broadwick is one of the great West End rooftop bars, and Jon is right to rate it.
