OTD in 1983 (1st August) I entered employment with a small firm of commercial property consultants in Liverpool as an Assistant Surveyor for minimal pay, and with no experience and zero training my tenure was short. Six months later I moved to London and started work with the world’s largest international real estate consultancy, Jones Lang Wootton. To quote Walt Disney…”You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”

The 2023 Annual Meeting of the Alliance of Tenant Representatives in Southern California concluded with a boat tour of the Port of Long Beach which together with the Port of Los Angeles, is the largest port system in the U.S.

It was thrilling that so many members could attend and welcome our newest member ResolveXO (Australasia’s leading corporate property strategist) into the ATR family of independent commercial real estate organisations.
