As part of our celebration of rural housing week, we were delighted to host a walkaround for Housing Plus Group of our Allscott Meads development, showcasing the progress being made on this landmark scheme.
It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome guests and demonstrate how Allscott Meads is much more than a housing development. Built on the former British Sugar factory site, the vision has always been to create a thriving rural community where people can live, work and connect.
With high-quality homes, extensive green spaces, a primary school, sports and community facilities, retail opportunities and a strong focus on sustainability and biodiversity, Allscott Meads is setting the standard for how rural developments can support long-term community growth while meeting local housing needs. The development has also been recognised for its collaborative planning approach and commitment to creating a lasting legacy for the area.
