Landlords see a large portfolio and think there's safety in numbers but that's not always the case in property management.

Awaab's Law doesn't apply to private landlords yet but that doesn't mean you can't still be fined.

Councils can already fine you up to £7,000 for serious damp and mould under existing housing law and there's already talk of extending Awaab's Law to private rentals as early as 2027.
