Not every robotic mower is built for the same garden, let us explain the difference👇

i2 AWD — from £899
Great for smaller gardens, softer ground and slopes up to 45% (24°).

i2 LiDAR / Pro — from £1,099
Better for trickier layouts, obstacles and areas where satellite positioning can struggle.

H2 — from £1,499
Our intelligent all-rounder. LiDAR, Network RTK and vision work together to keep it reliable around trees, walls and narrow spaces.

X4 — from £2,199
The beast. Built for huge areas, steep slopes, rough ground and serious terrain — even tackling obstacles up to 7cm.

The biggest mower isn’t always the right mower.

A small, enclosed garden with mature trees can sometimes need a more advanced machine than a huge open lawn.

That’s why we assess your garden first and recommend the machine that actually suits it 🌱

How long does a robot mower take to cut your lawn? It depends on the size of the garden — and the machine you’ve got ⏰

For smaller gardens, it can often complete the cut on a single charge, which might mean an hour or two of mowing.

For much larger spaces, it could be working for a good chunk of the day, often heading back to recharge before continuing where it left off 📍

That’s exactly why getting the right mower for your garden size matters. Larger machines have bigger batteries, wider cutting decks and are designed to cover more ground, faster and for longer.

We match the mower to the lawn, so you’re not buying something underpowered for the job — or paying for more machine than you actually need 🤝

Worried a robotic mower won’t cope with the slopes in your garden? ⛷️

You might be surprised by what they can handle.

Even the H2, which isn’t an AWD mower, can manage slopes of up to 45% (24°) — more than enough for most gardens 🤖

And if your lawn is seriously steep, the X4 takes things much further. Its four-wheel-drive system can handle slopes of up to 84% (40°).

So unless your garden is basically a hillside, there’s a very good chance a robotic mower will cope with it.

And you don’t need to work any of this out yourself. When we visit, we’ll assess the lawn, measure any steeper sections and recommend the right mower for the ground 🏡

Our mowers are built to work around the weather, not fight against it.

If it starts raining, the mower can detect the change in conditions and head back to its charging station, then get back to work when conditions improve.

Because it’s cutting little and often, there’s no pressure to get one big cut done every fortnight — so a few wet days don’t suddenly leave you with an overgrown lawn that’s difficult to manage.

'But can they get stolen?'

Is a question we've been asked, so here's the honest answer...👇🏼

Every machine is locked to your account with a PIN. Lift it and the alarm goes. The 4G models report their position and send an alert the moment they leave the boundary you set. To anyone else it's a paperweight — they can't pair it, can't reset it, can't sell it on.

We still fit more of these in open front gardens than people expect. Worth a call to your home insurer to have it listed, same as you would a bike.

The old objection to robot mowers was the wire. A perimeter cable pegged or buried around the whole lawn, dug up every time you changed a border, and cut through the first time someone put a fork in the ground.

The Navimow range doesn't use one. Positioning comes from satellite correction, and on the higher models LiDAR and cameras on top of that. Setup is walking the boundary once and saving it in the app.

Change the shape of a bed next spring? You edit the map on your phone. No digging.

One of our X4’s on a rare sunny day in Scotland, but what about rain? 🤔☔️

These models are IP66 rated, so rain doesn’t bother them, you can hose the them down to clean them without any issues. But it still checks the forecast and heads back to it’s charging dock before a downpour, because cutting wet grass clumps it, marks the turf and gives you a worse finish.

And when the forecast is nonsense, you can switch it off and let the mower’s own rain sensor make the call 💪

Did you know? 🤔

Most wire-free robot mowers rely on a satellite signal. Lose that signal under a mature tree or beside a tall wall, and the mower stops ❌

The Navimow H2 doesn’t have that problem. It uses LiDAR alongside satellite positioning, so when the signal drops out, it keeps mapping and keeps cutting — under trees, down narrow paths, even in the dark.

That’s why we work with Navimow as an official supplier of robotic mowers ✅
