As sites come to a close for the Christmas holidays, we are happy to see great progress at our Newton Flotman development with the first roof structures being completed! We look forward to continuing this momentum in the new year and welcoming new owners from Q2 2026.

Great progress at our site in Newton Flotman over the past couple of weeks, with a number of the plots coming out the ground at rapid pace. This 31 house development will provide a range of 2, 3 & 4 bed homes ideal for the local market place.

A special mention to our design and construction teams at Abode Construction, Chaplin Farrant and Rossi Long who continue to ensure the build quality and delivery are key to our success.

With one of the plots reserved off plan we are off to a running start and very excited for new year when Bidwells will begin to officially launch the site.

We have made some great progress at our Hales phase 2 site, which is a continuation of our phase 1 development and will see it increase to 62 units. The development continues off the back of a very successful phase 1 with a top specification and the quality and delivery built in. Success is only achievable with the collaboration and commitment of our partners and special thanks to Abode Construction, Feilden + Mawson and Rossi Long for their continued hard work and dedication to this development.

With the showhome scheduled to complete in April 2026, we are looking forward to Sowerbys taking these properties to the market.

We’ve had some more good news for our future developments - Planning Consent, subject to Section 106, has been granted for our development at Newton Flotman.

Again, thanks to Rossi Long and for their hard work on the project to date - it’s taken three years to get to this point and this is a proud moment for all involved.

We look forward to getting work underway on-site soon and bringing much-needed high-quality housing to the villages of South Norfolk.

We’re delighted last week to have received Planning Consent, subject to Section 106, for our Bracon Ash development of 23 homes. Special thanks to Rossi Long and Chaplin Farrant Ltd t for their hard work over the past three years.

Despite Nutrient Neutrality issues adding further complexity to the planning application process, we’ve continued to work hard alongside our consultants and the community, to provide schemes that will fit in well with the surroundings.

We can’t wait to get started on-site soon!

With over 60% of the units now sold at our Manor Green, Hales Phase 1 development is just under 2 months from completion. We have now received the resolution to grant planning consent for our phase 2 land to the North of the site from South Norfolk District Council!

We look forward to starting on-site soon to bring more high-quality housing to the area.

We’re delighted to have completed the construction phase of the Manor Green development at Hales.

The 23 house development has been completed on time and on budget and we’re really pleased with the end result, in particular the quality and finish of the properties and the generous public open space.

Following the success of the open day last month, 50% of the properties are either sold or under offer with more viewings and enquiries lined up in the coming days and weeks.

The success of our developments lies in a collaborative approach and Manor Green is no different. Our contractor Abode Construction (EA) Limited has done an exceptional job of delivering the project working closely with the many subcontractors and consultants. This partnership approach comes with honesty and trust and finding solutions in a timely manner. The end result is a development that we are all proud to put our names to.

From our architects to the parish council, funding partners to our sales agency and the local planning authority to our engineers, we’d like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has helped with this successful development.
