Its beginning to look a bit like christmas – the leaves are starting to fall and already the count down for christmas is starting. Are you thinking about a festive break? As i write this blog by all accounts there are 91 shopping days left. People are starting to think about where they will be for christmas. Rheged is a 10 minute drive away from Eusmere Lodge. Rheged has regular exhibitions on and live theatrical viewings in their cinema . a great place to go to eat , shop , area for kids to play and also a comfortable cinema

Farmers Nicola and Martin from Holker Farm cheesemaking journey began when they returned to Cumbria. Martin believes it is the diversity of his meadows that gives depth to their cheese flavours. These Cumbrian lands have influenced their cheese flavours and is where they produce their trademark St James ewe's milk cheese.
Find out more about Nicola's and Martin's story and 39 other farmers in our free exhibition, open daily from 9am - 5:30pm.

There was the daily parade for feeding in the gardens at Eusemere on Monday a real procession ❤️
