💚 Macmillan Coffee Morning 💚
Come along to Burghfield Village Hall on Friday 25th September, between 10am and 12pm, and join us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.
💚There’ll be tea, coffee and bacon rolls, plus plenty of time for a chat and a catch-up plus a special performance by Garland Junior School Choir!
💚We’ll also have a crochet demonstration table for anyone who would like to come along and learn how to crochet a poppy for our Remembrance display. We will also have our Poppy packs available to take home with you!
We look forward to seeing you there and raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

🌺 CALLING ALL KNITTERS & CROCHETERS!
This Remembrance season, Burghfield Parish Council is creating a special handmade poppy display at Burghfield Village Hall – and we’d love our community to get involved! 🌺
Whether you’re an experienced knitter or crocheter, a complete beginner, or simply fancy giving it a go, everyone is welcome! Every poppy will help us create something special to remember, honour and bring our community together.
🌺 WE’LL PROVIDE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!
We’ll supply the wool and poppy patterns.
🌺 WANT TO TAKE PART?
Poppy kits will be available to collect between Monday and Thursdays between the hours of 10am and 2pm starting from Tuesday 1st September at Burghfield Village Hall or just drop us an email. We will also be announcing further collection points in due course.
🌺 NEW TO KNITTING OR CROCHET?
Don’t worry! We’ll be announcing some drop-in sessions shortly, where you can come along, get some extra help and learn how to make your poppies.

Looking for something to do with your family and friends this weekend?
The May Fayre is back this weekend at the Hatch!

Burghfield May Fayre returns across Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026 at the Hatch.

Saturday is our kids and family disco from midday to 11pm with DJs, live music, street food and bar.

Sunday is the more traditional May Fayre from 10am to 4pm with 80+ stalls, arena displays, dog show, circus skills, Tug-of-War, street food and bar.

We can't wait to see you there.
