Starting uni can feel exciting, overwhelming and slightly chaotic — sometimes all at once 😂
Here are a few things we want every fresher knew:
✨ Don’t stress about making your “best friends” immediately
🏫 Actually go to your lectures — future you will thank you
🤝 Join a society or sports club, even if you go alone
🍳 Learn a few cheap meals before your bank account starts crying
🚋 Get familiar with Sheffield’s transport
💷 Set a weekly budget from the beginning
🌃 Enjoy nights out, but look after yourself
🫶 Ask for help if you need it — you’re not expected to know everything

This is the week where the summer reality comes to and end and its back to University for many of you....
But if you still haven't secured accommodation for your return to Sheffield then we can help, we have a spare room available in a wonderful 5 bedroom house just off Ecclesall Road, sharing with 4 other students.

2 shower rooms- 1 with a toilet
large patio to the rear
recently decorated living area with a 65 inch smart TV
bedroom 3 is the room available with a large bed, desk, chair and wardrobe

Collegiate campus is a 2 minute walk away
and
Hallam City, Uni of Sheffield, The Wave and the Diamond are around a 20 -25 minute walk
or buses frequently run along Ecclesall Road to all areas of Sheffield.

Ecclesall Road is home to various shops, bars , restaurants, cafes, eateries and so much more so you have the perfect balance for student living in this area.

The time and effort to paint the lions in and around Sheffield and surrounding areas for to raise money for the and celebrating over 150 years of care and dedication truly is inspiring

We came across this beautiful lion which highlights organ donation and the benefits it has for many people day in day out ♥️ named The Transplant Game

And this beautiful lionesses eas created by a famous local artist his work is fantastic 👏
