🏡 Full-Time Property Sales Consultant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Robinsons Estate Agents - Durham, a well-established and highly regarded estate agency with a strong reputation across Durham and the wider North East.
We are looking for a motivated and personable Property Sales Consultant to join our busy Durham City office on a full-time basis.
You will become part of a friendly, supportive and highly experienced team, working in a fast-paced environment where excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do.
🔑 The Role
As a Property Sales Consultant, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of our residential sales department and help guide buyers and sellers throughout their property journey.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
☎️ Handling telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from buyers and sellers
👥 Registering new buyers and discussing their property requirements
🏠 Matching buyers with suitable properties and proactively generating viewings
📅 Arranging and confirming property viewings
💬 Following up viewings and providing constructive feedback to sellers
🤝 Maintaining regular contact with clients and keeping them updated on the marketing of their property
💷 Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers
🔑 Helping progress agreed sales through to completion by liaising with clients, solicitors, mortgage advisers and other estate agents
💻 Maintaining accurate customer and property records on our internal systems
📋 Assisting with general office administration and the smooth day-to-day running of the branch
⭐ Building positive relationships with clients and providing a professional, friendly and helpful service at all times
As your experience and knowledge develop, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and progress further within the business.
👤 About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, presentable, motivated and confident when dealing with people.
You should enjoy speaking with customers, be comfortable working as part of a team and have a genuine interest in property and sales.
Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a busy office environment.
Previous estate agency, property or sales experience is desirable, although it is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
